Former Rockband decided to continue where they left off with a new-look ensemble called Redhouse. Bass player Ray Delamare said:"We had been together for eight years, and that's a long time. We've had other projects, and James and I have been playing with Monique & In Ya Pocket for some time now. But Jazz and Blues, quite different from the bluesy rock we were doing before". Ray, guitarist James Yeoman and Simon Williams decided that they worked well together in the rock line-up, and still really enjoyed what they were doing. "We decided it would be a great shame to stop, and were looking into the idea of James and I sharing vocal duties. But when we checked out the gig schedule that we've taken over, we thought there's no way we'd be ready in time". Enter, Monique, flamboyant front-woman of Monique & In Ya Pocket."Mon said she'd give it a go, but it's a massive jump from singing jazz to belting out rock tunes". "Mon's voice is amazingly adaptable, fantastic".
